Hello everybody! Today, during my Saturday Simple Stamping Facebook Live I shared how to take a more advanced card and step it down! I featured the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set.  This is a very cleverly designed set from Stampin’ Up plus you’ll get to earn it free starting January 3rd!

In case you’ve never joined me for my Facebook Live, I go live every Wednesday at 8:00 CST on my business page. I also go live on Saturdays for my Saturday Simple Stamping Workshop.  Today, I made two projects featuring Simple Stamping and the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set. Everyone is always welcome to join or watch the replay.

If you were unable to join me live, I have upload the recording here.

Here’s a little look at what we made this morning.

The first card we made was the very basic; stamps ink and paper version of the card I shared on Wednesday and the stepped up version that I shared this morning. I replaced the vellum and the flagged banner with just a piece of whisper white cardstock (4 x 3). Instead of cutting the cupcake out I just simply stamped it directly on the whisper white piece. During Wednesday’s Facebook Live everyone loved how I created the background on these cards. So I decided to create a visual tip for you so you can remember how to do it.

The background is really easy to do, I added a little tip image so you can pin to remember how to do it.

I also stamped a note card using the same layout. The only difference was I stamped the sprinkles going up the outside of the note card instead of the inside piece like the other card.

If you didn’t catch my post this morning with the stepped up version; you can view it, here or click the image below. You can also see the casual version of this card by clicking here or on the image below. (Which was inspired from this years Saleabration Brochure.)
