Hello and welcome to this weeks episode of Saturday Simple Stamping. Today, I am going to share with you a little sneak peek of a upcoming stamp set from the 2019 Occasions Catalog and one of the carryover items that’s on the Year-end close out sale. I am using the Geared Up Garage stamp set and the Silver Foiled edge Envelopes and Note cards. The Geared Up Garage is a fun stamp set that if a masculine themed set featuring cars, gears, nuts, and car related imagery. Here’s a look at today’s cards.
I did two cards during today’s Facebook Live. One that could be used for a Birthday and the other that would make a great Valentine day card for that male loved one in your life. One of the things with #simplestamping is that you only use stamps ink and paper. And, you can come up with some wonderful fun cards this way, Yay!
The first card I came up with was using just the car image and what I think is smoke. At least this is what I think it is from the look of it. Anyway it goes it’s a great textural stamp that could be used for so many different things. I added a simple sentiment that said You’re a Classic. I stamped everything in Basic Gray Classic ink to match the silver foil edges of both the card and envelope.
By changing up a couple of the stamps and adding a couple more you can totally make a easy Masculine Valentine’s Day Card. I used the nut stamp and stamped a border around the edge and placed the car in the same place as before and then added the tool box on the left hand side of the card. I stamped the sentiment You Jump Start my Heart to the card and thought that would make a great sentiment for a Valentines. Below you will find the Saturday Simple stamping Video Tutorial of both of these cards. Just click on the image below to see the video.
