Hello and welcome to my Blog and YouTube channel. Today I am going to share with you a cute little project that you can make for any season, any reason, or just because you want to give someone a little something they could use. Also who doesn’t need a little notebook that they can stick in their purse, pocket, or bag and run out the door with their list inside. Here is a picture of today’s project.
This is a really easy and quick project to make. It just takes a little designer series paper, a little cardstock, some ink, a stamp set and that’s it. I used some scraps of the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper to cover the little notebooks.
Tips & Tricks:
- For the cover like I said above I used the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper. I cut the designer series paper to 3″ x 4 1/2″. I’ve learned that you want to cut your paper just a little bigger than you need. I’ve noticed that you really have to measure the notebooks a couple times. They are not always the same size, so you will have to measure each one.
- Once you have them cut you will use the tear & tape to secure the designer series paper to the notebooks. Adhere all the tear & tape to the notebook and start on one side. Pull away the cover paper from the tape and place your designer series paper. Do the next line on the edge. Repeat until you have removed all the backing papers and secured the Tear & Tape.
- Stamp the image and do your coloring. Add with either multipurpose liquid glue or stampin’ dimensionals. Stamp and add the sentiment and your done.
See I told you that this was a super easy project and went together really quick. Think of all the possibles you can do to create these great little books. The best part is they use little supplies, and you can actually use scraps if you have the right size paper. Which is always a good thing.
