Hello and welcome to my blog; today I am going to share with you a project that was inspired by my friend Zahra Premji. I am going to share with you how to create a Christmas Ornament that Zahra made, using the Sprig Punch and the Peaceful Noel Stamp Set. She gave myself and a few friends one at OnStage back in November. I shared a picture of it during my swap post not to long after I got back. Here’s a picture of Zahra’s ornament.
When I made mine I changed up the colors a little bit. I did two of them so far, and am having a hard time deciding which color combination I like best. But, I will let you decided.
The first ornament that I made I used a kind of traditional color combination but not really. I picked Lovely Lipstick, Garden Green, Soft Sea Foam, and Sparkle Glimmer Paper. Here’s a list of those colors and below that you will find a picture of the ornament.
My next color combo was Coastal Cabana, Soft Sea Foam, and Copper Glimmer paper from the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper Pack. The image below list foil but its actually the glimmer paper that I used but there wasn’t a block for that.
I learned while doing my first one that it takes about 10 or so springs of each color to make a nice full ornament. You can see the entire process in the video tutorial.
Here’s a look of all three ornaments together.
I hope that you enjoyed the video and my post today. I also hope that you give this a try. If you do I would love to see what color combinations you come up with. If you need any of the supplies to make your ornaments you can pick them up in my online store 24/7 by clicking on the image below in my Stampin’ Up! Shopping List.
