Hello and welcome to my blog.  Today, I am going to share with you my project for this weeks Paper Craft Crew Challenge.  This week our challenge was to create a project with our Favorite New Project.  I picked a upcoming Saleabration Stamp Set that I am just in love with.  The images are so fun and lovable that you will be hopping all over the place with excitement.  Here’s a look at my project.

Here’s the theme image for this weeks challenge.  You can click on the image and visit the Paper Craft Crew Website and see what other other team members came up with.  Better yet you can also join in on this weeks challenge.

I started off my stamping the little frog on the unicycle in tuxedo black ink.  And then colored it using my Stampin’ Blends.  You will find a full list of colors that I used in the Shopping List below.  After the coloring was done I used my Stitched shapes and cut out the image using the largest stitched oval.   this stamp set is filled with so many cute little frogs that you are sure to find one that you love.

I paired this adorable frog with the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper from the Holiday catalog.  I knew that it would go fabulously with the piece that had all the little frogs on it.  And I was so right.  Not only do I get a little laugh from the frog on the unicycle but I just laugh at all the fun frogs on the designer series paper.  I matted the designer series paper on a piece of whisper white cardstock.  My card base is from a piece of Granny Apple Green cut at 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″.

I added the sentiment to a scrap of Granny Apple Green cardstock stamped in tuxedo black ink.  Right below the sentiment I added a small strip of the 1/4″ Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon.  This way i could tie in the greens from the frogs on the Designer series paper to the coloring.  For the frogs belly I used the light and granny apple green stampin’ blend and the dark pineapple punch stampin’ blend to create a lemon lime color.    To dress up and create a matching envelope I used a piece of the same designer series paper.  I also added a strip on the inside of the card to keep the fun frog theme going.

You may be asking well Rick how can I get this set?  Well you can either wait till the new catalogs goes live in January, and place a $50 order before shipping and taxes and get it as your Free Saleabration item.  Or if you just can not wait till then you can join my team now and take advantage of the preorder for the new Occasions catalog and Preearn for Saleabration which starts in December for Demonstrators.  Not only will you get to preorder but you will get to get a 20% discount on all your orders after signing up.  You may be asking now; how do I join?  Well it’s super simple click here!  And for $99 you can pick $125 worth of products now and then in December take advantage of the Occasions catalog preorder.   Plus you will become a part of my wonderful stampin’ family the Kinsmon Crafters, plus part of a larger family of Stampin’ Up!
