Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope that you are doing well today. My post is a little later today I’m totally having image transfer issues on the laptop so I’m kicking back to plan B and doing it from my phone. Anyway, I wanted to share with guys this cute gift giving idea that I saw in the Holiday catalog.

How many of you saw those wonderful baker’s boxes and wanted to know how in the world would you do that or why do I need those. Well I’m going to share with you today the one that I created. I always find great inspiration from our catalogs. And the 2018 Holiday catalog has been no exception. Here’s a look at the box and tag I created.

I love these Baker boxes but, to be honest wasn’t going to get them because my mindset was “Do I really need another gift box!” Until a friend said I needed them. “That they hold so much and are so easy to work with”. So I ordered a pack.

And, I must say I was very surprised at the size. I thought they were way smaller but to my surprise they were a great size for gifts. I’m so happy she talked me into it.

Spook Them Up!:

So in order to dress them up I cut out some masks from removable labels and the spider web thinlit from the Cauldron Framelits. I placed them on the outside of the box along with one that I cut to cover the acetate. I then used a Stampin’ Spritzer with a few drops of Lemon Lime Twist ink refill and some rubbing alcohol and sprayed the box. You totally want to do this in a box because the spray goes all over everything in its way.

I let it dry and then sprayed it one more time. Once it was completely dry the second time I peeled off all the masks to reveal the spider webs.

I then started to create the tag. Because you know you have to have a fun Tag for something this cute.

I took a piece of lemon lime twist cardstock and cut it to fit the banner triple punch and scallop Tag Punch (my go to punches for tags). I stamped the little magical image from the Cauldron Bubble Stamp set in matching ink all over it. Then punched both ends out.

I next cut out a stitched circle from Crushed Curry Cardstock and sponged around the edges with matching ink. This was added behind my tag to look like a moon. I stamped all the images for the tag in tuxedo black ink and colored them in with my Stampin’ Blends (find all the blends I used in the supply list). I then ran them through the Big Shot with the Cauldron Framelits. I added a small piece of the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper to the tag to tie in the black and curry.

After everything was attached I added a bow to the box with the Black Glitter Organdy Ribbon, and tied my tag on with baker’s twine. Before totally adding the tag I slipped in one of the spider trinkets to finish it off.

I hope that you have liked my project today and that I may have change me your mind on the baker’s boxes. If you need any of the supplies you’ve seen today you can get them in my online store 24/7 by clicking on the shop tab above.

Happy Stampin’
