Hello and welcome to my YouTube channel and Blog: Today, I’m going to share with you a card I made last week for my Wednesday night Facebook live mini class. Well actually I’m going to also show you two alternative versions based on Fall and a Halloween one also. Here’s a look at my card.
All the measurements for the card and the others can be done the exact same or tweaked just a little. But, basically they are all the same. I started out with my card base. I went with my favorite 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. The frisk panel is 4 x 5 1/4 and I just run it through the Big Shot with one of our fabulous embossing folders. Here I used the new Swirls & Curls TIEF. This layer can be the same color as you see in the picture or you can change and go with a slightly lighter hue as you will see later. Next I attached the designer series paper (2 3/4 x 5). Then I create the banner (with the banner triple punch if possible) and add either ribbon or Baker’s Twine. Add that with dimensionals. I stamp my sentiment image and either punch it out or use the layering circle Framelits. Next I cut the mat for the sentiment I used a 1 1/2″ circle punch which is know Retired; which is why I mentioned the layering circle Framelits. Add your inside and bam your done. I told you it was super easy.
For the Fall version I simply increased the size of the banner just a little bit but everything else stayed the same. I picked colors that were in or went with the Country Lane Designer Series Paper. I used the Tin Tile DTIEF for the background piece.
My Halloween version was all done the same way as the Christmas one. I just changed up the colors to match the Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper. I love how the swirls & curls TIEF plays off the designer series paper.
Thanks for dropping by today I hope that you have a wonderful day see you tomorrow.
