Hello and welcome to this month’s A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop. This month’s Blissful Blooms kit was a great one.  It’s filled with wonderful die cut vellum pieces, watercolor floral backgrounds, foiled envelopes, and that’s not all.  The Blissful Blooms kit is a hard one to make alternative projects with because the kit itself is just so great.  Here’s a look at my projects for this month.

Here’s a look at this month’s kit.

I love the watercolor look of the printed cards. I just simply cut the card apart and stamped and fuzzy cut out three of the flowers in the stamp set. I stamped it in Flirty Flamingo, Pineapple Punch, and Blackberry Bliss. I layered up the card front on a Blackberry Bliss mat cut at 4 x 5 1/4. I stamped congratulations on one of the labels that came in this month’s kit. And added a little if he silver edged ribbon behind it.

For my 3D project this month I took a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock and scored it at 2, 4, 6, & 8 along the long side. And on the short side I scored at 1 1/2″ flipped it over and scored a 1/4″ at the top. Folded it up and closed it with tear & tape. I added a little piece of the card front it was cut into a 1 3/4 x 2″ pieces and added to the front and back of the 2,4,6,8 box using multipurpose liquid glue.
