Hello and welcome to my blog post today, I hope that you are having a wonderful Sunday.  I have a fun clean and simple card for you today, it uses some unexpected products and only one stamp set.  This is actually a colorful card even through it is mostly white.  Here’s a look at the card for today.

Tips & Tricks:

I started this card by card by die cutting A, B, C, D, & E from the Large Letter Framelits into some scrap cardstock so that I could lay out the position of each letter.  Once I had the placement of each letter in the right position It was time to start cutting the final letters. From a piece of Whisper White Cardstock I cut out the A, C, & E this will be my card front. From another scrap piece of Whisper white I cut out a B, and D.

For the underneath side of the cardfront I would mask off just past each letter and ink blend underneath that with distress oxide inks. I wanted to try these inks out because we don’t have anything similar. Hopefully in the near future Stampin’ Up! will come out with a pigment dye ink hybrid. I also inked the die cut letters the same way.

I placed the cardfront on top of the card base over the selected areas using Stampin’ dimensionals. And just FIY I used a lot of them.

The Happy Birthday came from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set. I heat embossed it on a strip of Basic Black cardstock using white Stampin emboss powder. I took mini Stampin dimensionals and placed behind the sentiment.

That finished off the card. I wanted the letters to be the stand out element of this card. I think this would be great for a child’s birthday card and it was really easy todo.

Thanks for dropping by I hope that you have a great Monday. You will find a full list of the Stampin’ Up! Supplies listed below.
