Hello and welcome to my blog today. I hope that you are having a good Sunday. Today I’m going to share with you a fun card I saw Patty Bennett do on her YouTube channel and Facebook live a few weeks back. I loved this card so much that I wanted to give it a try. Here’s the card I did.
This card really isn’t as hard as it looks. It was really easy. I just love how it has a card within a card. And the easel could be used for so much. It’s just a few pieces of cardstock and a couple folds. If you order the matching cardstock pack to the Designer Series Paper it’s so much easier to make everything coordinates. The first card base is a standard card base cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. The second card base (which is attached to the first one) is cut at 4 x 10 1/4 scored at 2 1/2 & 5. Once that’s all done it’s time to add the designer series paper. You do need to watch the direction of the patterns you don’t want one pattern to be upside down when it’s supposed to be the other way.
The designer series paper is cut as followed: (1)3 3/4 x 5, (2) 2 1/4 x 3 3/4. The numbers in ()’s are the number of pieces of that size you will need. Next I stamped and die cut all the leaves and flowers using the matching framelits. Before attaching the sentiment and leaves I cut a stitched label in Blushing bride. I added the sentiment to a stitched oval in Shaded Spruce.
I hope that you are having a great day and I will see you again tomorrow. If you need any of the products you’ve seen today you can pick them up in my online store.
