Hello and welcome to my blog today. It’s Wednesday so it’s time new Paper Craft Crew Challenge. This week we are hosting a Tic Tac Toe Challenge for you. So how does it work you create a card by picking the items listed as if your were playing tic Tac toe as we all did as kids. Three across, three down, three in a roll diagonally. Here’s a look at the card I created using the three choices across the top.
There are so many choices that you can from for this challenge that I know there’s something that will inspire your creative leaf. Here’s a look at this sketch weeks card.

I picked the most subtle pattern I could find from the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper pack. I did this because I knew that I wanted it to be a focal point on the card and add texture but not overwhelm the card. The texture on the designer series paper also helps add to the natural element along with the linen thread. I stamped leaves from the Rooted in Nature Stamp set using colors pulled from the designer series paper pack. I went with Blackberry Bliss, Mint Macaron, and Grapefruit Grove, and stamped the leaves in these colors as well. The leaves were cut out and embossed using the Nature’s Root Framelit dies.
For the inside of the card I added a piece of Whisper white card stock cut at 5 1/4 x 4. I added a small strip of the same designer series paper close to the bottom of the inside along with three of the die cut leaves in the colors that I’ve used throughout the card.
To finish off the card I added three of the Faceted Dots in the three colors (Blackberry Bliss, Mint Macaron, and Grapefruit Grove) that I’ve used throughout the card. I stamped the “thinking of you” sentiment from the stamp set on the designer series paper like I mentioned above in Blackberry Bliss.
I also stamped the envelope on the flap and the front with leaves in the colors I’ve been using. I love to decorate the envelope as well. Which if you’ve been following my blog that will come as no surprise to you, but if you are here for the first time welcome and I hope this helps explain when you see the envelope done. Tomorrow I will be sharing with you a envelope that I created for the card that was posted yesterday.
