Today, I am going to share with you a card that I created using the new 2018-2020 In Colors and the Stamparatus. The new 2018-2020 In Colors are a group of five colors that are very hot and on trend right now. You will see them in home decor, clothing, and so much more. Here’s a look at my card today.
A Rainbow of New Colors:
As I mentioned above In Colors are a set of colors that are so on trend at the moment that you will see them everywhere (add in echo from the mountain top here). Each group of the In Colors (there are two) are around for two years and then are retired. Some of these may make it back into a catalog if there’s a color refresh or color revamp. For example Flirty Flamingo just retired from the 2016-2018 In Colors but was so popular that it was retired into the permanent collection; as well as Poppy Parade, mint macaron, black berry bliss and Costal Cabana which are all retiring in Colors from previous years.
This year the 2018-2020 In Colors (which are the ones I’ve used today) are; Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove, Call Me Clover, and Bluberry Bushel.
They are so bright and cheerful you can’t help but smile when you see this rainbow of color.
I also mentioned that there are two sets of In Colors. We still have the 2017-2019 colors for one more year before they retire sadly.
I know you’ve seen a lot of these.
Precision Placement every time:
I mentioned above that on my card I used the Stamparatus as well. You may be wondering what that is. Well it’s our new Precision Placement stamping tool. That allows you to stamp an image in the same place every time. Unlike other tools on the market ours is a little different. We have two removable plates that allow you to use all for sides of them to create multiple cards with different colors. I used it back in April to create my multicolored swap cards for Brian Kings event. I will link to it here.
Here’s a little video showing you some of the details on it.

To get the bikes to line up I used the hinge step technique. This is another benefit of the Stamparatus. It allows me to move the plate down one notch or hinge and stamp again. Here’s a little video from Stampin’ Up! showing that.
The Enjoy Life Stamp Set was designed by Million Dollar achiever Connie Fitzgerald, and features inspirational quotes that her and her family live by as well as some fun silhouette images that prove to be very fun to play with.
This is a photopolymer Stamp Set that has 15 indivual stamps, so you will have no problem creating a masterpiece with them alone with your favorite background technique.
Plus as you can see on my card I had no problem using an color ink at all. I would suggest that you prime your stamp first since they are a Soild image. To do so just use a versamark pad and ink it up and wipe it off on your hand a couple times. This helps to get a great soild impression with the soild images.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope that you have enjoyed my card and you will add the Enjoy Life and the Stamparatus to your next order you will love them both.
