Hello and welcome to this month’s One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop. This month our theme is Rolling Out the Red Carpet. Because a lot of demonstrators are rolling out their sneak peeks of new products from the upcoming 2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog which goes live on June 1st. As a demonstrator we get to order new products a month earlier than costumers. And if you attended OnStage you got to order a month before other demonstrators. So there’s a lot of perks to purchasing the no obligation starter kit and becoming a demonstrator.
Each member of the hop today has either created something wonderful for you using new products or they have created a very red carpet worthy project to share. So please make sure to hop along all the way and leave comments. Because well we all love comments.
For, my projects this month I am featuring Mary Fish’s Million Dollar Stamp set Varied Vases. Which is just the cutest little set. The stamp set features simple and modern vases and flowers along with some very cute script sentiments. This stamp set will let you create quick and simple projects with just the right amount of wow. Here’s a look at my projects using this set along with the matching punch which will be available in the 2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog as a cost saving bundle.
The colors I picked for my projects today are (the new) Petal Pink, (returning) Blackberry Bliss, and Bermuda Bay: with just a little pear pizzazz and basic grey thrown in.
Varied Vases Card:
I started out my card by stamping the background of the Bermuda bay cardfront with matching Bermuda Bay ink. I aligned my stamps by using the Vases builder punch and punched a scrap of cardstock. I aligned the stamps in the punch outs and attached them to my block. Once I had them secured on the block I could just stamp the background and did the same thing to a full sheet of Bermuda Bay Cardstock at the same time.
Once I had the background done I cut a piece of Petal Pink, and Whisper White for my cardfront. I stamped some of the vases in Bermuda Bay, Blackberry bliss and Petal Pink and punched them all out using the Vases Punch. The flowers and stems were all stamped separately. I then popped them up using Stampin’ dimensional in both sizes.
If you look at the inside of the card you will see one more vase and a little strip of Blackberry Bliss, this was a great way to tie everything in.
Gift Bags anyone:
I used the piece of cardstock that I stamped as above and used the Gift Bag punch board to create today’s gift bag. It was really easy to do. I also created a tag that I attached to the top of the bag.
If your wondering where the silver edge Blackberry Bliss ribbon came from. Well I made it! It’s supper easy to do, all you have to do is use a stampin write marker in your favorite color, and just color over the ribbon.
To finish off the projects and my card i had to have an envelope so I decorated one to match.
Thanks for dropping by today, I hope that you enjoy my projects today. I will have all the items that i can listed below the blog roll. Speaking of that to go tot the next blog all you have to do is click on the little blue button below and then click on the person’s name.
