Hello I am going to share with you my card for this weeks Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge.  This week we have a fun themed challenge for you.  Our theme this week was April Showers Bring May Flowers (baby shower, wedding shower, springtime, etc).   I used a mixed of carry over items as well as a little sneak peek of some of my favorite products from the upcoming Annual catalog.  My card today features the Petal palette bundle (which is retiring, but both the stamp set and framelits are not actually retiring, just the bundle price i), the detailed notecards and envelopes and the most beautiful Detailed laser die cut designer series paper.  Here’s a look at my card for today.

Petal Palette Stamp Set, Delightfully Detailed Note Cards & Envelopes, Very Vanilla Cardstock, Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty paper, Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin’ Pad, Mint Macaron Classic Stampin’ Pad, Sponge Daubers, Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Fine Tip Glue Pen, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Up!, #rickadkins, #rckinsmonstudio

And here’s a look at the theme card that inspired this weeks card.

The Delightfully Detailed Note Cards & Envelopes not cards are one of my favorite new products that will be coming soon.  They also feature a wonderful watercolor background on the front of the card.  The benefit of that is that they look like you did it your self.  I added some of the Delightfully detailed laser paper to the front of the card.  I used some scrap cardstock to create the embellishments on the front.

I stamped the roses in tuxedo black and then added some color with a couple sponge daubers. To finish off the note card I added a sentiment from the same stamp set.

I stamped the same rose image on the flaps of the envelope using the same colors as the sponging.  If you would like to play along you can do so by clicking on the theme card above.

Happy Stampin’
