Last week I attended Stampin’ Up!’s Demonstrator Only Event called OnStage in Atlanta.  At the event demonstrators get introduced to new products, and training.   I actually got to present one of the upcoming new suites in the 2018 Annual Catalog; I will post more on that early next week.  While at the event we learned that we will be having a Color Revamp of the Stampin’ Up! core colors.  This is very exciting news, I talked a little bit about it earlier in the week on my Facebook Live, where I ran through the Retiring list.  If you would like to see that video you can do so by clicking here.

So here’s a look at the current colors that are on the retirement list.

I know there’s a lot of wonderful colors going away. And, I’m equally as sad as you are to see them going.

New In Colors:

Let’s start out with our new In Colors. The In Colors will still rotate out every two years. So we still will get five new ones for a total of ten In Colors each year. The In Colors for those that don’t know what I’m talking about are colors that are super on trend. You will see them every where in fashion, home decor etc. Stampin’ Up! does a lot of research to make sure we have the most trendy colors in our collections.

These colors are so bright and cheerful they make me very happy. We will keep the following colors one more year. Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig, and Powder Pink.

To round out these trendy colors we have five new ones in: Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove, Blueberry Bushel, and Call Me Clover.

The Basics:

Whisper white, Basic Black and. Very Vanilla are in their own family group called Basics. Which actually worked out better and allowed for three more colors to the other color families. Because we now have 53 colors instead of our original 50 with this simple little addition.

Brand New Never Before Seen:

Along with the wonderful new In Colors we are getting ten never before seen colors brand spanking new to the color line. The colors are Merry Merlot, Gray Granite, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce, Petal Pink, Balmy Blue, Soft Sea Foam, Gorgeous Grape, and Highland Heather. I’m so excited to see and play with these new colors.

Some Returning Favorites:

We have a few colors from past In Color Collections that were so popular that they have made their way back. I’m very excited for these colors because a few I’ve heard of but Gabe never seen or played with. Returning colors are: Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Costal Cabana, and BlackBerry Bliss!

Who’s ecstatic with these colors making a come back! I know I’m happy for the ones I know and looking forward to getting to know the ones I’ve never used. I have a feeling we will become great friends.

Here’s the New Line Up:

I really had to fight not to say and here’s the pitch because for some reason that’s where my mind went. 😄.

Some of our colors have moved to different color families. For example with Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow, and Night is Navy are in the Neutrals. Stampin’ Up! durning their research found out that these colors were used more as neutral colors more than anything else. With the addition of Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Costal Cabana, and Gorgeous Grape to the Brights this makes our brights truly bright. Maybe even so bright I may have to wear shades when I use them. I love the addition of Mint Macaron, Highland Heather, Petal Pink, Balmy Blue, and Soft Sea Foam (which I am thinking maybe my favorite). I’m very glad that some of my favorite old brights moved to the Regals color family. And, I will admit I was a little skeptical when this was announced because I just wasn’t sure how they would fit. I will say that after seeing them in the line up in their new places I’m very very happy.

I actually sat down the other night and redid my paper rack. I set it to the new color families and once I was down I was amazed. Just that little change made a huge difference in how the colors look. I wished I would have snapped a picture for you guys to see the difference.

The big color revamp is going to be a great thing! It may be a costly one if you have to have everything like me, but it could be a great time to join my family of Stampers to save a little money on those purchases. If you want to learn more please feel free to contact me.

With this wonderful revamp of colors our color line is spot on with the trends as well as making it today a more vibrant and well rounded line. I’m super excited to play around with these new colors as I know you will be too.

Hope you have a great day.

Happy Stampin’
