Today, I am going to share with you another alternative project for this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit.  This month’s kit was entitled Heartfelt Love Notes.  It was filled with some beautiful love themed note cards that are great for Valentines, love notes in lunches, or just because.  Here’s a look at my card that I created using pieces from the kit along with a few extras.

Tips & Tricks:

I took one of the vellum hearts & a banner, along with the Flirty Flamingo Banner, the Rich Razzleberry Enamel Dots, some of the ribbon and one of the note cards from the this month’s kit to create the card.  First I took some of

the scraps I had from cutting the note cards up and ran it through the Big Shot using the heart from the Lots to Love

Box Framelits Dies (which by the way is a perfect match to the vellum hearts.)  I took a 1 inch strip of the note card and cut it into a banner.   I added this to the center of a piece of whisper white cardstock cut at 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″.  I collage layered on top of the banner the Flirty Flamingo heart, a vellum heart, a vellum banner.

To finish off the collage layering I stamped the sentiment “sending Hugs & Kisses to you” in Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink on the Flirty Flamingo Banner.  I attached the banner on the cardfront.  I added this layer to a piece of Basic Black Cardstock (4″ x 5 1/4″).  Once this was attached to this layer I added some of the copper edged ribbon to the card front and tied a bow.  I added this to a Flirty Flamingo Card base cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2.   I added some of the enamel dots just to finish off the card.

The combination of copper, vellum, hearts, and colors just makes this kit one of my favorites.  I am sure that we got a full roll of the Copper Edged ribbon.  If not it is very very close.  I am so happy with that fact, I see lots of things to can be done with it.  Each month we get such great things in our Paper Pumpkin kits, and it’s always so much fun to see what comes in the boxes each month.

It’s What’s Inside:

Each month we get an exclusive stamp set, and the supplies to create each set of projects.  The kit always includes an ink spot of two, and the embellishments, and any die cut pieces.  Which makes it very easy and fast to put together.  Each Paper Pumpkin kit comes complete with envelopes when we have cards, this month we got Craft envelopes to match our note cards.

This is my second alternative project for this month.  On Thursday I shared with you a note card set, and gift box idea during the A Paper Pumpkin thing blog hop.  You can see that post here and see other alternative ideas that the we all came up with using this month’s kit.
