Today I am going to share with you a quick post on how to create a ornament using our Be Merry Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the ornament I created.
Tips & Tricks:
The ornament that I create was created with a little paper and glue. I cut 20 circles using the layering circle framelits. I used the 3rd or 4th to the largest framelits. Actually I cut 21 circles i needed one as a template for the other 2o to get the shape right. I folded the corners of the circles around the template to give me the shape you see on each circle. I found the template for the ornament online and had seem them in stores and wanted to try one. Here’s how t create your template.
This is where I found the template to create my circles. I had seen this ornament in a store before Christmas and wanted to try making one, so I started researching and ran across this template. You are going to glue five triangles together. Then you are going to glue the next five on top of those five.
I found that it was easier to do both the top and bottom sections separately. Then glue them together after running the ribbon through the top and bottom sections. I attached one of the gold tassels the the bottom of the ribbon at the bottom of the ornament to act as a stopper.
I am supper excited that I created this ornament and it was amazing how it only used just a few supplies. It only took a few sheets of the Be Merry Designer Series Paper, Liquid Glue, the Layering Circle Framelits, Big Shot, Gold Ribbon, and the mini tassel assortment. All of these supplies you can pick up in my online store 24/7 by clicking here or by clicking on the Shop Now button at the bottom or on the product image below. I will see you back here on Monday for another post for my 7 Weeks of Christmas Series
