How many of us want to give someone on our lists something special this Christmas.   Well I created this project for just that reason.  I used some of the soon to be retiring products from the Holiday Catalog to create this fun Explosion Box Easel Card.  This is fun because the person getting it thinks that it’s just a simple present but it’s actually a card.  Here’s a look at the outside of today’s project.

Merry Little Labels Stamp Set, Merry Little Labels Bundle, Merry Little Christmas 12x12 cardstock pack, Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper, Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper, Basic Gray Archival Stampin’ Pad, Fast Fuse, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Simply Scored, Green Sprigs, 7/8” Striped Ribbon, Glitter Enamel Dots, Explosion Box, Easel Card, Stampin’ Up!, #rickadkins, #rckinsmonstudio, 7 weeks of Christmas, Giftable, Home Décor,

I used products from the Merry Little Christmas Suite in the catalog to create this.  Here’s a look at the inside once you side the lid off.  Merry Little Labels Stamp Set, Merry Little Labels Bundle, Merry Little Christmas 12x12 cardstock pack, Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper, Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper, Basic Gray Archival Stampin’ Pad, Fast Fuse, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Simply Scored, Green Sprigs, 7/8” Striped Ribbon, Glitter Enamel Dots, Explosion Box, Easel Card, Stampin’ Up!, #rickadkins, #rckinsmonstudio, 7 weeks of Christmas, Giftable, Home Décor, The box is a good size it’s 4″ x 4″ x 4″, since I used two sheets of the 12 x 12 cardstock and used the scraps for the mats and easel card.  The designer series paper is cut to fit just inside of the mats.  I just released and it’s not on the list but I also used the leaf punch on the easel card.  Here’s a couple more looks at today’s project before I have to go and start cleaning for our Christmas Party this weekend.

On the top of the box I used the striped Ribbon which I just adore and I am very sad to see it go.  I tucked two of the green sprigs in the bow along with a tag that was created using the Merry Little Labels stamp set.

I added a little bling to the inside with the Glitter Enamel Dots.  I used three shades of the Old Olive ones and three different sizes to add a little interest too.  Merry Little Labels Stamp Set, Merry Little Labels Bundle, Merry Little Christmas 12x12 cardstock pack, Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper, Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper, Basic Gray Archival Stampin’ Pad, Fast Fuse, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Simply Scored, Green Sprigs, 7/8” Striped Ribbon, Glitter Enamel Dots, Explosion Box, Easel Card, Stampin’ Up!, #rickadkins, #rckinsmonstudio, 7 weeks of Christmas, Giftable, Home Décor,
