Tips & Tricks:
These cards have a darling whimsical look to them with your traditional reds and greens with just a hint of Emerald envy in them to make them look very on tread. The card bases are preprinted to feature this gorgeous watercolor look to make it look like you spent days creating each card you can put them together during your favorite Christmas movie and have them ready in a snap. You will have to have a few additional supplies to complete the kit all of which can be picked up in my online store. My suggests will be in italics in under each image of the card. Lets have a closer look at each of the designs shall we.
The real red Merriest Christmas Wishes Holly card was very easy to put together I followed the printed instructions exactly without having to change much. The only thing that I did add extra was when putting on the holly berries and leaves I attached mini with mini glue dots to make it faster and a little easier. Also an easy way to get the sequins on is to lick your finger before you try picking it up and dab it off and then pick it up on the end of your finger then putting it in the glue. Or you can put a mini glue dot on a tooth pick and run it across your pants a couple times to destickafy it a little and use another toothpick to get it off once you have it in the glue.
Next I did the Oh Joy Card featuring the Gold Trim and the red die cut banner. The instructions suggested to use 12 inches of the gold trim. I found that this was a little to long for my liking so I shorted it down to just 10 inches and I think it was a better fit. I also added just a little bit of Fast Fuse to the center of the banner instead of the fine-tip glue to hold it in place while the glue dried .
For the Season of Cheer card I followed the instructions very closely. The only additional thing that I did was a little Fast Fuse Adhesive to secure the trim into place while the fine-tip glue dried on the two outside edges of the trim sticking out to hold in place.
For the Season of Cheer Wreath card which I think is my favorite. I just added a little fast fuse on the banner to old the trim in place. I found that doing this helped.
