Today I am going to share with you a set of five cards that can be done really quickly. They are a set of fall cards that features a quilt technique. I used the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper to create the quilt pattern on the card front. This works better on a chopping cutter then a slide cutter. Here’s a look at my set of cards.
All these cards were created with the same paper I used early espresso as the mat and the thick very vanilla cardstock as the base of my card. The Base is cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2. Basically all you have to do is that the 3 3/4 x 5 pieces of Designer Series Paper and cut them in a different pattern. Then you place them back in a pile in the same order you cut them in. Starting at the top you going to pick a stack up and take the top piece put in in the back of pile. Do this for all the piles except with the second stack you are going to move the top two pieces to the bottom of the stack, third stack you are going to move top three to the bottom, fourth move four pieces to the bottom the fifth stack you are going to leave alone. then you are going to have a piece of 3 3/4 x 5 piece of cardstock cover it with adhesive and lay the a piece from each stack on it starting at the top left corner and going across with a piece from the next stack until you have made your way around. Make sure you line them up to the cut edge of each piece. Then attach onto you mat and then place on the card front.
