Welcome to this month’s A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop.  Each month a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators get together and create alternative projects with that month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit.  This month’s kit was titled Pinning for Plaid, and it came with products to make shaker ten cards and plaid lined envelopes that are just to die for.  I will share what the original projects looks like a little later in my blog post.   Here’s a look at my alternative projects that I created.

Pinning for Plaid:

I mentioned at the beginning of this post that I would share with you what the original projects looked like if you missed my post the other day about the unboxing.  The original projects in this month’s kit featured 10 shakers cards:  five that featured a forest theme and five that featured an ornament hanging from a pine bough.  This month kit featured card bases and envelope liners that feature a plaid pattern similar to the plaid pattern in Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper.  Stampin’ Up! announced that instead of a refill for this kit they would release whole kits on Monday after 2:00 pm, well this kit was so popular it sold out in 3o minutes.  I would think that is probably a record.  Here’s a look at the original projects.
