Hello friends, thanks for joining me today for this month’s A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop.  If you are just joining or if you have come from perhaps Sara’s blog welcome. I know that each person on the hop has created some great alternative projects for you this month.  I created a wonderful little box that measures about 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ x 1/2″ that can hold a lot of treats, and a Christmas Card.

Let’s talk about the box for a second.  This is a great treat box. I created it from one of the cards from this month’s kit.  I used my simply score board to create it.  This is one of those boxes that you can make a lot of and actually store them flat to save space.

For my card I used a piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4.  I stamped the card base to create my own designer series paper.  I actually stamped it over and over alternating how far apart they were and when and where they started.  I added the smallest image in the set and did it the same way.  I took one of the ovals from the Giftable Greetings August Kit and stamped Merry Christmas on the front.  I bet you are wondering where this stamp came from, am I right.  Well, to answer it came from last November’s paper Pumpkin kit.  I added some of the ferns to make it look like pine limbs.  I added a bow made from the Night of Navy baker’s twine in this month’s kit.

Thanks for dropping bye today next on the hop is Carolynn Sander I know that you will love what she has in store for you.
