Hello stampers crafters and friends today I am sharing with you another alternative project featuring this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit. This month’s kit was called Positively Picturesque. This months kit was a fun create kit that had some great elements, colors and card designs. The alternative project that I am sharing with you today features the heart die cut that came in the kit and the love wood embellishment. Here’s a look at my card for today.
I actually trimmed down the heart card front to fit the front of the note card. The note card that I picked for this piece is the one that has the Lemon Lime twist watercolor wash on the front. I added the Powder Pink washi tape to the front of the card in two strips. I added the stained love wood element (that I did on my video early in the week) to the front of the card. I added fast fuse to the back of this to make sure it stayed secured. Once that was done I stamped the small heart around the card in Soft Sky classic ink. and added the little banner and just flagged the end, after I stamped the You from the stamp set in Tranquil Tide.
If you notice around the heart there is a stitched embellishment around the heart. I just love the little stitch detail. It brings so much to the card without a lot of muss and fuss. The stained wood embellishment was created for one of my projects earlier in the week. If you would like to see how I did it you can click here and see how I did it step by step.
