Well I am finally getting my post uploaded for today! I came home yesterday before the big storm in north Alabama, to no power. After five phone calls to the Utilities company it was restored this morning. It took that fifth call this morning to get them out here to fix it. Which I couldn’t be mad because I was told yesterday that there was 5000 homes without power so, it is what it is. Since I didn’t have time to create a video for today I am sharing a set of Monogrammed Thank you cards that I created a few weeks ago and haven’t had time to post them yet. Here’s a look at today’s cards.
These cards are very quick and easy to reproduce I created 8 in about 30 minutes after I had all the supplies cut and ready to go. The trick to mass producing your cards is cut everything at one time, and do each step for all the cards at once. For example after having everything cut and scored and ready to go I stamped all the C’s, then all the sentiments, then put them all together. The cutting took the longest amount of time next to designing. I knew that I wanted them to be a monogrammed card because they were for my husband’s dad. He needed a few thank you cards to send out to people after his hip replacement/repair.
I tried to keep the cards as clean and simple and masculine as possible since they were coming from his dad. I think they turned out very elegant looking. I have a feeling that you may be seeing another version of this card in the new future. I used the Letters for You Photopolymer stamp set to simply stamp the monogram in the stitched square. I went with just the stamped letter over the die cut letter because I wanted to over due it and add more postage to the cards. Sometimes the basics of just stamps, inks, and paper is all you need to create a wonderful card.

You are right, Rick. These cards are elegant. Yes, you should make a video on how you made them. I would like to learn how you did it. I can’t quite see if the stitched box has Stampin’ Dimensionals or is it just glued there? Looks so nice!

Pam they are just glued. The black square makes it look like they are popped up
