This past week I was asked to make a few graduation cards for a friend’s dad. They were not sure if they were for boys or girls or a mixture. So what do you create? This was a tough one if I do something to masculine or to feminine then it would not work. So after a little thought I thought well what’s more asexual then hot air balloons. Luckily we have a great hot air balloon stamp set and framelit set. Here’s a look at my card that I created for these Graduation Cards.
To make this card more general neutral I picked an analogous color scheme. These are colors that are close to each other on the color wheel. I picked Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, and Dapper Denim as my three main colors and used Soft Sky, Basic Black and Whisper White as complements.
I love these colors together and they can go for either a boy or girl. You have a bright color, some regal colors and neutrals. Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide are new Incolors for 2017. They will be available starting June 1, 2017 or you can purchase one of the Eastern Palace Bundles by May 31st and get three of the new InColors.
