Hello stampers, crafters, and friends today I am going to share with you a card designed by my good friend Kathi Jenkins a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. A few weeks back I hosted a Shoe box swap with a few demonstrators and they all came to my studio and brought projects featuring new products from the upcoming catalog. Each Demonstrator picked one stamp set to feature and each one had to pick a different one. Once a stamp set was picked they had to pick from one of the others. And, since each Demonstrator’s style of card making is different you end up being able to showcase a lot of different styles at your events. So I wanted to share the cards we made that day in some up coming posts. Here is the card I made featuring Kathi’s design.
Kathi’s design features the Daisy Delight stamp set, which is one of my favorite sets this year. She also featured the Clear Gem Embellishments, the petal burst embossing folder, and the Delicate White Doilies. All of which play wonderfully off each other. To keep the attention to the sentiment Kathi designed this card with the Thank you stamp in mind and used the Stitched Shape Framelits to cut out our squares.
She had us turn our whisper white stitched square as a diamond and stamp the sentiment. We layered this onto another stitched square turned the same way in Berry Burst (a 2017-2019) InColor. We then ran a piece of Powder Pink Cardstock (another 2017-2019 InColor) through the Big Shot using the Petal Burst Texture Impression Embossing Folder (a carryover item) in the new catalog. To finish off the card we stamped and punched out the daisies and added them to the cardfront.
The New Clear Gem Embellishments give a huge amount of sparkle and shine without a lot of work. These have became one of my go to embellishments for my cards. I am in love with these little gems, and I know you will too.
Once we finished with out card we decorated the envelope also. Here’s a look at both together.
For the inside we simply stamped a very nice sentiment on the inside and a small batch of daisies in the bottom right hand corner to Finish everything off.
