Hello stampers crafters and friends I am sitting here writing my post for today watching Grey’s Anatomy.  Which actually fits in very well considering today’s post is about the latest Paper Craft Crew’s design challenge.  This week we have a fun sketch challenge that leaves it wide open for you to jump in and take part with full creative freedom.   Much like any episode of Grey’s Anatomy in which they face  challenges all the way down the line including the doctors, interns, and everyone else faces in each show.  As in the show the challenges that we post each week have their own set of create expressions, and sketch challenges help card makers and crafters hone your creative skills, card designs, color theory, and crafting skills.   Here’s a look at my card for #PCC243.

Crafting Forever, Pick A Pattern Designer Series Paper, Layering Circle Framelits, Many Marvelous Markers, Stampin’ Up!, Sneak Peek, #rickadkins, #rckinsmonstudio, PCC243, sketch challenge

These two items are not even in the same suite, but thinks to Stampin’ Up! they coordinate wonderfully.  I picked the Crafting Forever stamp set because I love everything in the set.  The set actually takes us through our journey as crafters.  When you see the stamp set you will see what I mean.  I am a sucker for anything with art supplies since I have a Bachelors Degree in Art.  So both this stamp set and set of papers have a great meaning for me.   This stack of Designer series paper has some great patterns and prints in it.   Here’s a little sneak peek of the paper pack.

This Designer series paper will coordinate with many different sets in the upcoming catalog, but it also will go with the Pieces & Patterns Stamp set that will be coming out soon.

Here’s a look at this weeks sketch for the challenge.  If you would like to see what all the other design team members have created with this sketch or to join in on the fun you can click on the image below to be taken to this weeks challenge page.

I love the color combination that was used on my card this week.   Its fun and cheerful, and very exciting.

It’s a wonderful mix of regals brights and neutrals.   That can used for so many different things depending on the way you place them in order.   You can create a male or female card depending on which one you place in certain areas.   Here’s another look at my card for today.
