And heres the sketch for this weeks challenge.

Tips & Tricks:

Sometimes you don’t have to have a lot of stamping on a card.  Sometimes you can let theDiagonal Stripe Background Stamp, Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper, Layering Circle Framelits, Playful Pallet Washi Tape, Stampin' Up!, #rckinsmonstudio, #rickadkins designer series paper do all the talking for you.  This week I did just that.  I didn’t purchase the Succulent Garden Bundle, but I did get the paper, and I knew that I wanted to feature something from this suite.  So it had to be the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper.   The only stamping on my card was the background.  I used the Diagonal Stripe background stamp and stamped the background, I used the matching ink to create this.  My cardbase is in Calypso Coral cut at 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2.  After the background stamping I cut my layers.  I layered a piece of Tip Top Taupe first set at an angle.  Next I took my whisper white piece and put a piece of the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper.  I wrapped some Old Olive Baker’s Twine around the whisper white layer three times and secured it with a little tape.  I layered this on a piece of Old Olive and placed that layers over the Tip Top Taupe layer.   Next I punched out an image form the designer series paper and took a piece of Sweet Sugarplum and the layering circle framelits and die cut a scalloped circle to layering my punched image on.  I popped this up on Stampin’ Dimensionals, at this point I added a little washi tape with the right color.  To finish off the card I added some retired candy dots.  I had tried some other embellishments but they just wasn’t working.   The candy dots were the answer.

Here’s a look at the main colors for my card today.
