Hello Stampers crafters and friends for today’s Paper Craft Crew weekly sketch challenge I am going to share with you a framed scene card featuring the Basket Bunch Bundle from Stampin’ Up!. This is a fun Easter set and the first one that Stampin’ Up! has ever released with matching framelits. Currently the stamp set is on back order but hopefully it will be back in soon. But, anyway here’s my card for today.
This is a fun sketch for you to take part in this week it’s so left up to the imagination. Here’s a look at this weeks sketch.
With Easter right around the corner I wanted to share these cards even with the stamp set being on back order. When I created them this was not the case. But, anyway this is a fun and wonderful stamp set for Easter, and the first Easter set for Stampin’ Up! with a matching framelits set.
Tips & Tricks:
The first thing that I did was to cut out the labels using the Lots of Label framelits. These were cut using the next to the largest two framelits in whisper white and soft sky cardstock. Next I stamped and colored my main images and cut them out using the basket builder framelits. To create the hill I used a piece of Pear Pizzazz and cut out the next to largest stitched oval and the grass from the basket builder framelits. Yes, this card has a lot of cutting, but well worth it.
I colored all my images with Stampin’ Write markers in Sweet Sugarplum, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Soft Sky, and just a little bit of Pink Pirouette fro the bunnies ears. When coloring with markers you want to try to only color once and not go back and try to get missed places because you will create a darker shade. Once you are done you can come back and add in some shadows. I added just a little bit of Pink to his checks to just add a little color to his face. I also added a little soft sky in the shadow areas of his body to make the white pop.
