Hello stampers crafters and friends, I hope that you are having a wonderful day. As I am getting ready for OnStage Local in Savannah this weekend, I am sharing cards that inspire me. Today I am sharing a real quick and easy card with you featuring the Cool Treats, and Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at my card today.
When I first created this card I put in a Chocolate Popsicle, but in the video I changed it up a little and created a peach popsicle. I wanted to change things up a little bit, and step things up a little for the video. My first card was created with just stamps ink and paper, for a quick and easy card. My second card was stepped up just a little to so you how to take the same card and add just a few little things and step it up. For example I added a pear pizzazz mat and a little ribbon, to create a totally different look.
Sizes & Dimensions:
- Pool Party Cardstock 4 1/4 x 11 scored at 5 1/2 or 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
- Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper 5 1/4 x 4
- Whisper White Cardstock 3 1/2 x 4
- Pear Pizzazz Cardstock 3 3/4 x 4 1/4
The first card that I created for this tutorial was created as a top folding Card that was meant to be very simple and quick and easy for people to reproduce. With this card I created three Popsicles with one being a Chocolate, strawberry and a blueberry one.
To step up the card a little bit, I used the same supplies but added a mat in Pear Pizzazz around the focal image. This will draw attention to the image. Next I added a bow using the Flirty Flamingo Ruched Ribbon. My Popsicles were also changed up a little I changed the Chocolate one to a peach one.
