Hello stampers, crafters, and friends I hope that you are having a wonderful day today. I am in the middle of counting down to attending OnStage Local in Savannah Georgia this weekend. For those of you that don’t know what OnStage is it’s a meeting and training for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators by the staff at the home office. The attendees will get their first look at the upcoming new annual catalog that goes live in June. This is just one of the perks for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, and I am excited to be attending my second. With that being said I am excited to be sharing with you my latest Easter card. I am using the Basket Bunch Bundle from the Occasions Catalog. As of Sunday night the Basket Bunch Photopolymer Stamp set is currently on backorder with a TBD date for being back in inventory. When I checked on Saturday the date of being back in stock was April 10th, so you can see how fast a back in stock date can change. Here’s my card for today.
Tips & Tricks:
This is a fun card that really isn’t hard to recreate it’s just a little die cutting. I stamped all the images using the Basic Gray Archival Ink Pad and once it was dried. I used the new watercolor pencils (which have been on and off backorder since they released in January.) Sadly they are currently on the Not Orderable list. What does this mean well they have sold so well; way beyond expectations that they have out sold all forecasted projections. From time to time to prevent extreme backorders Stampin’ Up! will place items like this on the Not Orderable status until they build up enough supplies to handle demand, or there is some unforeseen reason the ordered inventory doesn’t come in. Such as the extremely cute egg cartons they have over sold expectations and the current inventory is on hold in port. But, they will be back in soon I hope and once they are I will update you on both these items. As I was saying
I used the watercolor pencils on each of the stamped images and used the blender pen to smooth out the color. Once this was done I stamped some clouds on a piece of Soft Sky Cardstock in Soft Sky classic ink. This was layered on a piece of So Saffron and then all placed on my Wisteria Wonder Card base. After that I cut out two or three pieces of the grass(Pear Pizzazz Cardstock) from the Basket Builders Framelits dies and placed them on my card front cutting them down to size. Next I did the same thing in Garden Green cardstock. Once this was completed I added all the little pieces that I die cut and placed Stampin’ Dimensionals behind some of the images to add dimension. For my sentiment I stamped it in Soft sky and cut it out using the large cloud die from the Up & Away thinlit dies and placed this in the sky.

My color scheme for my card today feature some very Springy colors such as Soft Sky, Pear Pizazz, Wisteria Wonder, and So Saffron. These are all from the subtles collection and are great for the budding of spring flowers and changing of gray winter skies. I added in the rich Garden Green to have two different tones of green in the grass.
This finished off my card for today. I hope that you consider ordering the bundle once it’s back in stock. If you would like any of the supplies I’ve used in my card you can pick them up in my online store by clicking here, or by clicking on the Shop tab above or by clicking on the product below. Happy Stampin’!
