Hello stampers, crafters, and friends; I hope that you are having a wonderful morning. It is beginning to be feel like Spring here in the south, and along with Springtime comes Easter. So today I am sharing with you a cute little treat box with a built in card. I came up with this little treat box because I wanted something to place some Hersey kisses in, or some other small chocolates. Here’s a look at today’s project.
With Easter just around the corner everyone’s out buying supplies for their Easter Baskets getting ready for the Easter bunny to arrive. Since this is the case we all need some quick special gifts to place in those wonderful colorful baskets, and this little card/treat box is just the perfect fit. You can create two of these little cuties out of one sheet of cardstock. Which makes it super affordable to recreate. I am featuring the so to be retiring 2015-2017 In Colors, along with the Basket Bunch Bundle.
Sizes & Dimensions:
- 5 x 7 Piece of Mint Macaron or Pear Pizzazz Cardstock
- 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 piece of Designer Series Paper from the Cupcakes & Carousel Designer Series Paper Stack
- Whisper White piece big enough to stamp, color, and die cut the images.
- scrap of Watermelon Wonder Cardstock
- Scrap of Tip Top Taupe
- Scrap of Cucumber Crush
- 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 piece of the 2015-2017 Incolor Designer Series Paper Stack
Portrait Side: 1/2″, 1 1/4″, 2 1/2″, & 3 1/4″
Landscape Side: 3/4″ and 4 1//4″ Only to where the portrait score lines end.
This is a great little treat card because it holds six Hersey kisses. Which is great for kids, coworkers and teachers for a little Easter treat. Then you can personalize the back with your greeting of choice. I have also created this in Mint Macaron which is one of my favorite so to be Retiring 2015-2017 In Colors. You can see both images below.
The first one I didn’t put as many kisses on the inside because I thought four would be enough but the shift around and move to much. Six is the magic number to keep them in place and want let them shift.
