Hello stampers crafters and friends; I hope that you are having a wonderful day.  Today I am sharing with you my unboxing of the March Paper Pumpkin kit entitled Bunny Buddies.  If you are not sure what Paper Pumpkin is well it’s a subscription kit from Stampin’ Up! that is shipped to your home every month.  Each kit comes with an exclusive stamp set the precut supplies for that month’s project along with at least one ink spot.  The ink spot matches the project for the month and they are not duplicated for at least a year.  Most of the time the only thing that I have to provide is my paper snips, but sometimes I do have to provide some adhesive.  Each month the kits are different, and usually ship out after the 10th of each month.  The kits usually take about thirty minutes to complete.  I am sure you are wondering how much is the subscription?  Well, they only cost $20 a month plus shipping, but if you do one of the prepaid subscriptions you can save even more.   This month’s kit is extremely cute and adorable and just in time for Easter.  Here’s a look at this month’s kit.

What’s Inside:

This month we made nine 3 x 3 bunny cards, and nine bunny treat bags.  They are so cute!   The Bunny Treat bags are muslin bags, that we stamped the face on, the same as the cards.  In the exclusive stamp set you have three different mouths and noses, along with the whiskers, and ears.  There were also some wonderful sentiments in this month’s set.  This month we got a Basic Gray Archival Ink Spot in our kit.   Which is a great alternative to using the Basic Black Archival ink.  It’s not as dark and a little more subtle and soft.   This month we also got some solid baker’s twine in Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach, and Dapper Denim.  Which all matched the colors in the supplies in the kit this month which are so nice and springy, and wonderful choices for Easter.

Bunny Treat Bags:

Let’s have a little look at the Bunny treat bags.

These are so cute and will hold two treat size bags of M&M’s.  I know this because that was the only candy that I had on had at the time.   But, I know you could fit a lot more depending on the candy you pick.  First you have to stamp the little faces and then put your ears in.  The ears are die cut stickers, that you place on the inside after you tie the bag up.  The little banners are precut as well and you just pop them out and stamp your greeting.   You attach them using one of the mini cloths pins.   Oh yes I forgot to mention that we also got little pom pom in matching colors to place on the back of the bags to make the little bunny tails.

Bunny Cards:

The bunny cards were really easy and fast to put together. I did nine of them in no time.  The paper reminds me of the Playful Pallet designer series paper stack in the Annual catalog.   Once you stamped the little faces you place the little die cut ear sticks on the inside of each bunnies ears.   The cards came with nine very vanilla envelopes.  Here’s a look at the cards.
