Hello stampers, crafters, and friends I hope that you are having a wonderful day. My last card using the High Tide stamp set has been so popular I wanted to create another card for you using the High Tide stamp set. If you missed that post you can see it by clicking here. But, I did not want this to be a rehash of my last card it had to have a different feel. With that being said here is my card for today.
This card is one of those that makes an impression especially with the High Tide Stamp Set. This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set is easy to use and create that perfect beach scene. Combine individual stamps to create the final image you want in the colors you want. It gives a very impressive look.

Tips & Tricks:
The High Tide stamp set is really easy to use and lines up nicely. Some two step stamps I find hard to line up at times but this set lines up like a dream.
My recommendations are that you start out stamping the sand image first. I found that this way I could easily line up the lighthouse. I stamp my sand in Sahara Sand classic ink. Next I stamped the outline of the lighthouse (the shadow image) in Early Espresso Classic Ink. I found that it was easier to stamp this outline image first and then to stamp the other image in the stamp set(the more solid image). By doing this this way I could line up the image better, I found it a little harder to get the image lined up perfectly when I stamped the other way around. Once I had all this completed I stamped the water image (see the video below).
I found that you could turn the water image vertical and it created a wonderful wood grain look. To me this mimicked the look of the texture on drift wood (beach wood). I stamped this on the Calypso Coral cardstock in matching Calypso Coral ink. I wanted this to be a tone on tone and not take away from the Lighthouse image but to enhance the overall feel of the card. You can also change the color of your base layer to create a totally different look. To keep the embellishments simple as well as the card itself. Just a little bakers twine and the enamel shapes.
