Hellos stampers, crafters, and friends I hope that you are having a wonderful day.  Today, I am sharing with you a card that features both the Fairy Celebration stamp set (2016-2017 Annual Catalog) and the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration item) both by Stampin’ Up!.  Here’s a look at today’s card.

Fairy Celebration Stamp Set, Vertical Greetings Stamp Set, Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper, Bitty Butterfly Punch, 2015-2017 In color Stampin' Write markers, 2016-2017 In color Stampin' Write markers, Stampin' Up!, #rickadkins, #rckinsmonstudio

With the Fairy Celebration stamp set life is a wonderland of magical moments and spritely people.  Let this stamp set help you celebrate and enjoy every minute of it all.  The set comes with three different fairy stamps along with some wonderful sentiments and a little fairy dust as well.  This allows you to create any possible fairy scene that you can come up with.  The set also allows you to create any card you can possibly think of.

The Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper is one of the fabulous Sale-A-Bration items that has been offered this year.  And with the Adult Coloring book trend in full swing this is an item that everyone should grab.  When you make a $50 purchase in my online store before shipping and taxes you qualify for a free Sale-A-Bration item.  Since we are close to the end of this huge promotion are Sale-A-Bration items are now on a as supplies last status.   The card tin has already sold out.   This designer series paper features serval different designs that can be colored with a number of coloring media, and used in so many different ways.  On my card today I used a 3 3/4 x 4 1/4 inch piece and matted it on a 4 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic Black cardstock once colored.

To color this piece of designer series paper I used the both current sets of In-color Stampin’ Write Markers in Watermelon Wonder, Flirty Flamingo, Emerald Envy, Cucumber Crush, and Delightful Dijon along with the Wisteria Wonder marker.  I only colored the flowers, stems and leaves.  To add a little more interest to the card I stamped and fussy cut the fairy and colored it in the same colors as listed above.   I stamped this same fairy again on Wisteria Wonder Cardstock in matching ink and punched the wings out using the bitty butterfly punch.  I then attached them to the fairy using a mini glue dot.   Once this was completed I stamped the fairy dust to add a little magic to the card.   After stamping the fairy dust I attached the fairy using the fine tip glue pen and placed a clear block on top to allow a little weight until it dried.  Once it was dry I added some due drops to the flowers and leaves using the fine time glue pen.  When these little drops dry they look just like wet due on a flower.   Not to mention they add just a little bit of sparkle without a lot of fuss.

I attached this piece to the card front about 1/4″ from the left edge.  This left about an inch border on the right hand side.  This didn’t leave room for a traditional sentiment and I didn’t want to stamp one from the set and had it cut out using one of the many framelit sets that are in my online store.  While trying to figure this out I thought of the Vertical Garden stamp set that I just loved and haven’t used nearly enough, so I picked the Happy Birthday sentiment from that set.  Instead of stamping it in a bold ink choice I went with the Wisteria Wonder classic ink to match the card base.
