Hello stampers and crafters I hope that you are having a wonderful day. Today I am going to share with you a quick and easy Thank You card. We all need thank you cards! Some of us need more than others, but it’s always great to have them on hand. You never know when you will have to have one on the ready to hand out or to mail. Well, that’s what I have always been told. That you should send or give a thank you card to anyone that gives you something or does something nice for you, it’s a southern thing. Here’s a look at today’s card.
My card features the So Very Much Stamp set which is a Sale-a-bration item. Which means you could earn it for free with a $50 qualifying order from my online store.
The So Very Much stamp set features a large scripty style font that is so very on trend right now. This large thank you that makes a bold statement. I love a set that features a stamp that’s such a statement, but also has smaller stamp sentiments that matches and works wonderful together.
The large stamp is about 2″ to 2 1/2″ tall and about 3 to 3 1/2″ wide. So you can see it’s a nice big size. This large Thank You stamp makes for a show stopper, and increases your from a plain card to a WOW card, with just a little effort. Depending on what background you place this image on it will change the feel of this card. If I were to stamp it just on a plain piece of cardstock in stead of the designer series paper it would give a more elegant feel to the card.
Every little decision you make on your card can effect the look and feel of your creation. You can create the same card over and over but by changing some of the elements of that card you change what the card looks like and what feel you can create with the card.
Pick a pack of patterned paper!
For my card that I am sharing today I used the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper. This is one of my favorite paper stacks that came out in the Occasions catalog this year. So many designs, so many colors, so many uses. Each sheet is double-sided for double the creative options. The smaller size works beautifully on card fronts.
This paper stack features a soft color scheme with a distressed look that lends itself to great projects for any age or gender. Coordinating colors in the paper stack are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron, Very Vanilla. If I had picked the Bermuda Bay or any of the other coordinating colors as my cardbase it would have given my card a completely different feel. I went with the Night of Navy cardbase to create a more masculine elegant but fun feel to the card.
