Hello friends, crafters, and stampers I hope that you are having a wonderful day.   My card today features a wonderfully sweet stamp set and framelits from the annual  catalog, and the best part is they are part of a cost saving bundle.  If you order them using the bundles code you can save 10%, which makes the bundle an even sweeter deal.  This stamp set features one of my favorite desserts, cupcakes!

Who doesn’t love a good cupcake? Even your most gluten intolerant friends can enjoy a bite of these cute pastries! With this stamp set you can wish them a happy birthday, thank them so much, or tell them that they are the best. No matter which you choose, they’ll think that it’s sweet.

This is a Two-Step Stamp set. You can combine individual stamps to build the final image you want in the colors you want.  Here’s a look at the card that I am featuring today using the Sweet Cupcake stamp set.

Sizes & Dimensions:

  • So Saffron Cardstock 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
  • Pool Party Cardstock 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
  • Chocolate Chip Cardstock 5 1/4 x 4
  • Whisper White Cardstock 2 x 5 1/4 & scrap for stamping the cupcake about a 3 x3
  • Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper 1/2 x 5 1/4

Tips & Tricks:

When embossing the chocolate chip cardstock you will only emboss half of it.   You do have to make sure that you are using fast fuse to adhere the stamped whisper white cardstock to the embossed piece.   When stamping the cupcake and icing, in the stamp set it is listed that you stamp in order from 1, 2, 3.  If you look at the stamp set each step is numbered.   I actually stamp them in a different order.  I start with the most solid image which is number 3, then I move the number 2 finally ending with stamp 1.  This to me works better and a little easier than the right way.   I do the same thing with the icing.  Here’s a closer look at the cupcake.

Here’s a look at the inside of the card.   I kept it simple which allows for room to write your message on the inside.
