Hello my friends, stampers and crafters, I hope that you are having a wonderful Friday.   Today’s post is a little different than my normal ones.  Today I am going to be sharing with you how to create two different cards by using the same stamp set.  With just a few changes.  The card base is the same but I changed up a the colors. I needed a sympathy card for a male and a female, so what better way then to do them both at the same time.   Let’s have a look at today’s cards.

All I did to create the cards was change the colors of the layers, the placement of the stamps and the ink colors.  By doing these few little changes you can create two different looking cards by only using the same stamp set.

The masculine card I used Dapper Denim cards stock and ink on the card.   I stamped the sentiment on the outside to match the mat on the outside and inside of the card.   The tree was stamped on the front in tip top taupe.

On the feminine card I stamped the sentiments in Sweet sugarplum on top of a tip top taupe tree.  The stamped image was placed on a sweet sugarplum mat.   To add a little more feminine feel to the card I added some of the 1/8″ white ribbon from the Sending love Ribbon Combo pack in the Occasions catalog.
