Hello again my friends this is my second post for today. I am sharing with you my card that I have designed for this weeks Watercooler Wednesday Clean and Simple Theme challenge. Clean and simple cards are something that I have a hard time coming up with, but with this challenge I had to give it another try. This weeks theme was picked by the very talented Libby Fens who is also on the Blogging Friends Blog Hop each month. Here’s a look at my card for the challenge.
And here’s a look at the theme card for this weeks challenge.
This was one of the reason I wanted to do this challenge I love the classic color combination for a love theme. But, as I said I have a hard time doing clean & simple cards, but I had to do it to improve my skills in that area. So lets talk about today’s card. I wanted to keep the card dramatic still but simple. In order to do this I went with the Bloomin’ Love Thinlit die cut from our Real Red Glimmer Paper. This alone added enough drama, sparkle, and makes a statement on my card.
I also stamped the flowers from the Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set that fit the flowers on the die cut in Real Red classic ink . The thinlits also have die that cuts these two small flowers out. I picked the sentiments from the new So In Love stamp set from the Occasions catalog, because I felt that they showed love without just screaming it. To me this would be a great card to give your special someone. When your in love with someone you celebrate with them everyday.
This would also be a wonderful card for a groom to give his bride on their wedding day.
Here is a list of of the main products that I used on my card today. This is the perfect image to pin to Pinterest to remember what was used on this card.
