Hello Stampers and crafter I hope that you having a wonderful day. Today’s project is for this weeks Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge. This week we have a wonderfully fun clean sketch for you. You will have a fun time playing along this week. Here’s my card for this week’s card.
Here’s the sketch for this weeks challenge.
As you can see this is a simple clean fun sketch this week. This sketch leaves it open to your creativity that you will want to create all types of cards for this sketch. You all know that I love sketch challenges and that my feelings are that these type of challenges are great to improve you design skills.
Tips & Tricks:
I kept the clean and simple outside but I went a little different on the inside. For the inside I used the new Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits dies. This is a very unique die for Stampin’ Up!. Not only does it create the cut outs but it also creates an embossed image and the score lines.
When you are cutting the pop up image you will want to go ahead and score in the center of your cardstock. You want to go ahead and score the cardstock because you will need the score line to line up the die. The die has an arrow at the bottom that you may not notice, that’s what you are going to line up the score with.
Here’s what the card looks like opened.
Emerald Envy 5 ½ x 8 ½ scored at 4
Whisper White 3 ¾ x 5, 5 ¼ x 8 ¼ scored at 4 1/8”
Crumb Cake 4 x 5 ¼, (2) ½” x 2 3/8”
Party Animal Designer Series Paper (2) 2 1/8 x 3, ½” x 3 ¾”
Here are the sizes of the paper that I used for this card. I have also listed them in the video. Here’s a look at all the supplies I used to create this card.
