Hello my friends I hope that you are having a wonderful Monday!  Today, I am sharing with you a little Valentine’s Day Treat Box.   This is a cute little slanted box that actually will hold a lot of treats for your special Valentine.   These are a great size treat box for your kids classmates, teachers, your friends, neighbors, and any one that you need or want to give a little treat to this Valentine’s Day.   Let’s have a little look see at today’s project shall we.

Tips & Tricks:

To create the treat box I used Real Red Cardstock, Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack, some Whisper White, and the Sealed with Love Stamp Set.   You can get three boxes from one piece of 12 x 12 Cardstock, which is always a great thing when you can get more projects from one sheet.   That makes us all happy, and especially if you are making these for your kids to take to school and hand out.

In my video tutorial I show you step by step how to create this wonderful little box.  Here are the score marks for the box on the 4 x 12″ Real Red Cardstock.    You are going to score on the landscape side at 1″ 5″ 6″ and 11″.   Turn it to the portrait side and score at 1″ & 3″.   Fold and burnish the score lines really good.  When you get done cutting the score line make sure you are on the right sides you will have a 4″ side and a 5″ side.  So you have to make sure you don’t stick your Designer Series Paper on the wrong one and try to pull it off, it could be a pain.

It’s easier to punch the two holes in the closure before you add the designer series paper, than come back and punch it again after attaching.   The paper sizes you need are as followed:  Your Designer Series paper is cut at 1 3/4 x 3 3/4 and 1 3/4 x 4 3/4, (2) 3/4 x 1 3/4.

This is really an economical project to recreate with just a few sheets of cardstock and some designer series paper you can whip out a lot of them in no time.   Which if your doing them for a gift, or for a party that’s a great thing.   If you would like to pick up any of the products you’ve seen today you can pick them up in my online store, by clicking here, with the Shop button above or by clicking on the products below.  I am also offering this set as part of my latest online class preorder.  If you are interested in finding out more about the class you can contact me about it.
