Hello stampers and crafters, I hope that you are having a wonderful week and that you are not going crazy trying to find everything on your list.  Today I am sharing with you a simple but elegant card for the Christmas Season.   Today’s card features Joyful Nativity stamp set in the Annual catalog.   This is one of those sets that you may have over looked.  But, this is one that you really should get even if after Christmas this is one that you will want to use for years to come.  Here’s a look at the stamp set.

I love the Joy in this stamp set it is bold yet elegant.  So when I sat down to design this card I wanted to use it as the focal point of the card.  During this time of the year and with what is going on in our nation and the world we all need a little JOY.   Here’s a look at today’s card.

I created this card on a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Whisper White card base scored at 4 1/4.  The next layer was created with our Silver Foil cardstock cut at 5 1/4 x 4.  The stamped images was stamped on a piece of Night of Navy cardstock cut at 5 1/4 x 3 3/4.  The first things that I stamped was the manger and the Bethlehem image in the background.   Next I stamped the Joy in night of navy ink.

I then used my embossing buddy over the entire inked images.  Next I stamped the joy, angel, and star in Versamark.  Next I placed silver embossing powder on the images and heat embossed it.   To finish off the card i stamped the sentiment on a piece of whisper white in night of navy ink.  I flagged the end and popped it up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Here’s another card using this same stamp set.
