For This Project:

This is one of the quickest and easiest gifts that you can throw together and make in a snap.   For this project you will need: A bottle of Wine, cider, or any other beverage in a bottle.  You will also need some Gold Glimmer Paper cut to size to go around the bottle and large enough to cover the label, a 4 x 1 1/2 in. Basic Black that has been punched with the banner triple punch, Whisper white at 3×3, Basic Black Archival ink, Holly Berry Builder Punch, a scrap of Delightful Dijon cardstock, some ribbon, and a 6″ x 17″ Gusseted Cellophane Bag, Here’s to Cheer Stamp set, and Cheerful Tags framelits dies.

  1. First we need to take some fast fuse or tear n tape and run alone the label.  This is so that we can attach the Gold Glimmer paper with.   Attach the Black flag banner to the glimmer paper with the fast fuse.
  2. Stamp the sentiment from Here’s to Cheer Stamp Set in Archival ink on Whisper White.  Punch out using a circle punch or layering circle framelit.  Stamp the to and from on the remaining Whisper White.  Attach the circle on the black banner.
  3. Punch out the bow and a circle with the Holly Berry Builder Punch using the Delightful Dijon Cardstock and attach everything with some liquid glue or mini glue dots.  Attach it on the bottle below the sentiment using your favorite adhesive.
  4. Place the decorated bottle in the Gusseted bag.  Gather up the bag and take your ribbon and tie a bow around the neck of the bottle.  You can add some gold sequin trim and the to and from tag with some gold baker’s twine or some other type of twine tied to the bow.

That’s how quick and easy this project can come together.   It’s a great project to have the supplies on hand so that you can whip this quick and easy gift up in no time when needed.
