Hello Stampers and crafters thanks for joining me with the One Stamp At a Time Let It Snow Blog Hop. We are super excited to be with you again this month and I look forward to sharing with your this month’s projects as well as I know all the other Hoppers are excited to be sharing with you also. This month’s them is Let It Snow which immediately made me think of Frozen. Don’t worry that’s not were I went with it, LOL! At the end of the hop you will see a next button, to go to the next hop just click on the next button or you can click on the names below the button.
The first card that I am sharing with you features the Snow Place stamp set. It was very fitting with the theme of this month’s hop. I just adore this these snowmen. I added them to a very vanilla card base cut at 5 1/2 x 11 scored at 4 1/4. This was matted on a Cherry Cobbler mat. The first layer of the card is actually from This Christmas Designer Series Specialty Paper. Every thing was sponged with Soft Suede ink to add a vintage feel to the card. This Christmas Designer Series Specialty Paper features 6 double sided designs, which means double the fun. This paper features coordinating colors Basic Black, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla, for the perfect traditional meets modern Designer paper. You will love this paper so much because it features designs that can used all winter long for cards besides just Christmas.
The second card for the hop actually features the same stamp set and the same Designer Series paper. I wanted to show you how these items can be used for a totally different look but using the same products. Versatility is key with any product. I always try to think how many ways can I use this before I purchase. If I can come up with at least three things It is usually a keeper. If I can think of anything than I usually have to pass on it at that time. I can always come back to something and think about it. This actually happened to me last year with this set, when it was released in last years Holiday catalog, I thought it was cute but I couldn’t think of anything to do with it besides what I saw in the catalog. After the catalog was about to expire the retirement list came out and everything in the catalog was basically on it. So I didn’t order the set, when the Occasions catalog came out they brought back a few of the bundles from the Holiday catalog so I got as much as I could. Because at that point I could think of other things to do with it. My point is if you think you want something, think of at least three things you can do with it at that time. If you can then buy it. If not then let it go.
Thanks for hopping along with us this month, I hope that you will take the time to hop all the way through and comment on everyone’s posts. I know I will be doing it after work today. If you are interested in ordering any of the products you have seen in my post today you can find all the information below the hopper list.
