I did this project kit over the weekend in a class, it was surprisingly a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I was presently surprised! I didn’t think when I saw it in the Occasions Catalog that I would like it. I would say things like “It’s cute!” “It’s neat.”, or “I like it but….”. I just wasn’t sold on it, as I am sure many of you are as well. But, I had a few people that wanted to do it in a class so I was like okay we can do whatever you want. So I should mention I already had the stamp set that matched the kit because I liked it a lot more than the kit it’s self (or so I thought).
I am a big enough person to admit when I am wrong and believe me after Saturday nights class. I was wrong. I didn’t put it together before hand. I did go through it and found what would be the most complicated I thought for someone that had never stamped before and put those three together so that I could help my class. But, besides that we followed the directions in the kit and put the rest of the thirteen cards together.
It took us a little over three hours to complete. It probably wouldn’t have taken so long to complete if we hadn’t had some food, talked and laughed for a good hour before we got started. But, that’s what happens when you get friends together. Then you have the occasional sidetracked topic going on and they all stopped working to talk about it. LOL friends! Much like I am writing this blog post.
Here’s the stamp set. What sold me on the stamp set was the Dream Big, and enjoy the little things along with a few others. I knew it would be a fun stamp set to have.
I will have a full list of the products needed below. Here are some close ups of three of the card from the project.
these were a couple of my favorites. I mean come on “throw kindness around like confetti”; who doesn’t think that is just a great saying. I suggest you give this kit another thought if you haven’t already! It’s a lot cooler and has some great sayings that you would never think of if you don’t get it. It was a winner for me after Saturdays class. I give it three rainbows in the sky in the scale of gayness. You will really enjoy making it, hmmm sometimes we have to try something that we didn’t think we would like only to find out it is better than expected. Okay since I am now starting to sound like my mother it’s time to end the blog post for today.
I hope that you give this project kit a try if you find yourself in a pinch with nothing to do. Thanks for dropping by and I will see you tomorrow. Remember, if you need any of the supplies for this project you can pick them up 24/7 from my online store. I would appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.
