Paper Pumpkin Time is one of the best times of the month. I love coming home and being told “Your Paper Pumpkin came today!” It’s just one of the best feelings. I love the not knowing what’s in the box. It’s a present to me every month.January paper pumpkin unboxed

January’s Paper Pumpkin was all about Valentine’s Day. We got everything to make a banner or two and some heart shaped treat holders. About 5 or more yards of sequin trim, and a pack of mini clothes pins came in the kit (which was worth the price of the kit alone shh!). And I didn’t even mention the cute Valentine’s Sentiment stamp set, or the think Mint baker’s twine or the great punch outs. Okay I know I am going on like a queen in a candy store.

I love my paper pumpkin from Stampin’ Up! It’s a great value and a great way to build supplies. I also love it because I usually have leftovers, but this isn’t always the case. When I can I do some alternative things with them for my subscribers. This way they get a chance to see what other things they can create with their leftovers or if they are not feeling that month’s project, they have some choices. I also share some ideas on my own Facebook group called Rick’s Pumpkin Patch. This is a closed group for my Paper Pumpkin subscribers. As well as the group I have started sending out emails to them with PDF instructions for the exclusive alternative projects.

Here are a couple of the cards I made with the leftovers this month.
