Today’s card features the new Botanical Builders Framelits dies.  This is a fun new bundle from Stampin’ Up!.   It features a great stamp set, the matching Designer Series Paper, and the Botanical Builders Framelits.  When you purchase the bundle you save 15%.  Stampin’ Up! has done all the math for you; the price in the catalog is what you pay after the 15% saving.   This is differently one of my favorites in the new catalog.   I wanted to see what I could create using different colors besides what was in the DSP, and here’s what I came up with!

Spring Mix Botancial Card

I wanted the emphasis to be on the flowers from so I keep my card base in Whisper White, and added the edgelit to cut the bottom basic black cardstock piece.  Which was attached right to the card base.  I ran all the leaves through using the framelits from the set using Cucumber Crush cardstock and Mossy Meadow.  I then stamped the veins on each and attached to the card base in a circle.

The flowers were die cut in Pink Pierette and Soft sky cardstock.   All these were just scraps let over from other projects.   I found that these framelits make great use of scraps you have been holding onto.   I sponged the edges of some in coordinating ink.  I did find you have to be careful well doing this so that you don’t rip something or beat it to heck and back.  (Not that I had this happen or anything!)

This was a supper easy card to do but looks a lot harder than it is.   It’s a great way to use up a lot of your scraps.  I encourage you to give this card a try.  If you have any questions you can drop me an email or comment.   If you would like to order these or the bundle you can do so on my website.  Thanks for dropping bye today.   Don’t forget to follow me here or on any of my social media sites for more ideas like this.
