This is my second post for today.   So welcome back stampin friends.   I wanted to share with you my card for the Can You Case it? sketch challenge CYCI#104.   Here’s the sketch that inspired my card today.

I started with a Crumb Cake card base and used some of the new Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack from the 2016 Occasions Catalog.  I wanted a little texture in the background but didn’t want it to over power the focal images.  So I picked this simple background in whisper white and crumb cake.

I wanted to give the feel of a vintage card so I added the tea lace doilies to help  create this feel.   Next I added one of the large hearts from this months Paper Pumpkin and trimmed off the overhang.   Next I punched out two hearts one from a retired heart punch and the other from the sweetheart punch.  I wanted to keep the layering going, since it was working for me at this point.  I added my banner sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration stamp set What I Love, this just added a touch of mystery to me for this card.  It makes you just want to pick it up and open it to revile the inside sentiment.   Speaking of which I picked a simple one word sentiment for the inside.  I wanted it to just simply say YOU!  I used a stamp from a past Paper Pumpkin kit for the inside.
