This is how I pretty much felt when I saw the Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack and the First Sight stamp Set in the new 2016 Occasions Catalog.     This card was created for this weeks Global Design Projects sketch challenge #GDP018.  This is the sketch for this weeks challenge.

So it was only natural when I saw this sketch that I wanted to use both these new products.   My choice for the card base was Crumb Cake because it went so well with all the colors that I picked to use for my card.   And, speaking of my card here is the picture of what I came up with.

I just love this color combo.   I mean I feel in love with Crumb Cake when I first saw it and who wouldn’t.  It’s a perfect color in my opinion.   Its like that little black dress or black suit in the closet.   You know it will go with anything.   That’s how I feel about Crumb Cake.   I wasn’t to sure about Rose Red when I first saw it in the catalog, up till then I had only saw it in the annual catalog in the little swatch.   I am very happy and pleased with what I ordered.

Stamp Set Used:

I picked the First Sight Stamp Set because it was simple and clean to go along with the card sketch.   Not to mention again I did fall for it when I first opened the catalog.   So it was one that I just had to have.   As you can see it is just one of those that can be used for one reason.  I like a stamp set that I can use more then just for one holiday or occasion.   I can use this for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, along with many others.

The icing on the cake to me for this card is the tiny heart punched out of the new blushing bride glimmer paper.   It just adds just enough bling to this card without overpowering it.

Glimmer paper is by far my favorite thing for glitter.   I can add it to my cards without worrying about getting glitter all over my desk, myself, as well as my card.   Nope there is no amount of voice of experience with that statement not a one.

I hope that you will pop over to the Global Design Projects page and play along or just to check out what all the great designers have came up with for this fun Sketch challenge.   To hop over just click on #GDP018 and it will take you right there.
