Today’s card is a fun and festive Polka Dotted card featuring the Merry Moments Paper Stack.   And, I mean who doesn’t love polka dots.  Especially these festive cuties.

This card is just dotted full of holiday spirit.

Tips and Tricks:

I knew that I wanted to use the polka dotted pattern from this paper stack it has been one of my favorites this season.   I chose a color from the design to use as my card base.   So I picked Real Red and cut it at 5 1/2 x 11 and scored it at 4 1/4.   This is a super easy card to do, so there are not really that many tricks.   I used the Home for Christmas DSP and cut out one of the reindeer from the paper.   I punched out a circle of whisper white and stamped my greeting on it as well.  Next I used the 2 3/8 scalloped circle punch and some Real Red Foil Paper to add some sparkle and bling to the card.    After I had it all attached I thought it needed just a little bit more bling and used some glitter ribbon along the top and bottom of the sentiment which I attached using Fast Fuse.   That took the card over the top and made it look perfect.   polka dot close up.jpg

I loved how the glitter ribbon gave the impression of snow along the edge.   And, the red Foil just drew your eye to the reindeer.  Which since he was Rudolph worked out fabulously.   To add just a little more pop to his little nose I added some more shine to it with the Wink-a-stella clear glitter brush pen (which will be available in the new occasions catalog coming out very very soon.)    Which is a must have!  We will be offering both the clear and the gold.

If you are interested in any of the products I used in my card today they can be picked up over on my online store 24/7.   If you love this paper as much as I do you need to go grab it now while there is still some left.
